Winter Colours Collection, 2021
Inspired by soft sandstone curves in the warm glow of a winter moon. Tafoni sandstone erosion is unique to the Gulf Islands and its honeycombing pattern is beautifully shown at Dionisio Provincial Park on the northern tip of Galiano Island.
Acrylic painting on stretched canvas, with the scene continuing on the sides so framing is a choice, not a necessity.
