Description
Memoir of a Maple was created in memory of a Galiano Island maple tree that was so treasured for it’s beauty that the road was split around it. The map of Galiano Island was included in it’s trunk with a partial reflection on the road to depict how treasured it is by the community. A new maple has been planted into the stump and appears to be doing well!
