Climbing up Galiano Mountain we join with the eagles in a splendid view of the Southern Gulf Islands. Nature makes beautiful use of the bare Douglas fir and the old Garry oak branches, providing perches for eagles and lichen. Cool blues and greens are touched by pink and coral highlights welcoming the first blush of spring.
5×7 inches. Painted on 3/4″ deep stretched, back wrapped canvas with the painting extended to include all four sides.
Painted in a realistic style that allows the rhythms of the scene to take my paintbrush into impressionistic journeys, bringing a deeper mystical allure to the scene.
