Description
Inspired by the daring perch of a Juniper, grown to maturity at the forest edge. This tree is found at Dionisio Point Provincial Park Island which is joined by a tombolo to Galiano Island. The sky was painted at the Galiano Island Saturday market, the cumulus clouds rising to the tunes of Jack Garton.
The Juniper species is very vulnerable to development because it’s local habitat is only between the forest edge and the ocean, or at the top of a cliff. It’s a survivor rather than a competitor.
16 x 20 inch painting on stretched canvas with the painting extending around the edges so that framing is an option not a necessity.
